Treasures in Heaven
(Matthew 6:19-20)
19 Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal; 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven , where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal.

1. God loves you and has a plan for you
Did you know that God created you with a lot of love?
God made the world, created all people… and He made you too!
He has known you since before you were born and wants to be your best friend. He wants you to live with joy, peace, and love.
📖 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
I am amazed, and my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from you, though I was made in secret,
And interwoven in the deepest part of the earth.
Your eyes saw my embryo,
And all those things were written in your book
Which were later formed,
Without missing a single one.
— Psalm 139:13-16
2. We have all sinned
Even as children, we all sometimes disobey, lie, throw tantrums, or misbehave.
That's called sin, and sin separates us from God. That's why we need his help.
📖 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

📖 For the wages of sin is death.
— Romans 6:23a
📖 He will not consider the guilty innocent.
— Nahun 1:3
3. Jesus died for us
God did not want us to be separated from Him, so He sent His Son Jesus to pay for our sins.
Jesus died on a cross for you and me. That is true love!
📖 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
— Romans 5:8
📖 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
— John 3:16
4. We can be saved if we accept Jesus into our heart
If you truly believe in Jesus, ask Him for forgiveness, and accept Him as your Savior, God forgives you and gives you eternal life.
You will never be separated from Him again!
📖 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
— Ephesians 2:8–9
📖 That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
— Romans 10:9
📖 For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Today I receive Him as my Savior and I trust only in your grace and in Christ's sacrifice to be saved from sin. Thank you, Father, for your mercy and for giving me eternal life.
